A Special Night of Prayer at Taizé “Drawn together by the power of the Holy Spirit...we seek a passionate connection to God and others...by study, prayer and worship...” - From the Trinity Church Mission Statement Wednesday, June 29th at 7:30 the Taizé service will be dedicated to prayers for those throughout the world who are suffering in the wake of natural and man-made disasters, unemployment and threatened economic catastrophe. Those of us who have been unable to help in more tangible ways can be in solidarity with the people of Christchurch, New Zealand and of Japan, as well as with those in Arizona, Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas, the Mississippi River Valley and in other parts of our own country where fire, floods, drought and tornados have caused destruction and distress. Let us come together in prayer with special intention for our brothers and sisters, and for all creatures who are suffering. The Trinity Church Chapel will be open at 7 PM for reflection and meditation, and the service will begin at 7:30. All are welcome. |
